Such a great experience... I just bought a 20 year old used bike. The staff helped me tun the bike and spent extra time telling me about it's history, how it shifts differently and how to service the bike. I would highly recommend!!!

Very, very, very disappointed. I have brought my bikes to Dr. Hill Cyclery for years. I'd never had a problem. Recently, however, I brought my son's bike in for a new wheel. We brought the bike home - he got on it and 200 yds down the road, the wheel folded. When I brought the bike back to Frank, he didn't ask what had happened, he pointed to my son and said, "He knows what happened. He's lying to you to get a new wheel." I was appalled at that kind of rudeness, and disappointed to encounter that kind of attitude in a local businessman to whom I had gone for more than 10 years. I'd recommended friends take their high-end racing bikes to him - as an option to the very expensive Philadelphia shops. Frank is unarguably an able mechanic and knowledgeable cyclist - but he is rude, offensive and a poor businessman. I am NEVER going back there - there's a shop in Havertown now, but I'd rather drive to New Jersey or New York than ever bring business to Frank again. I'd rather pay more and have someone treat my business and me with more respect.
