Reviews By David S. from College Station, TX Posted Nov 1, 2016 I would highly advise against going to this bike shop. They seem to charge you for anything they can, even if you're buying a brand new bike, they lie to you about what you can get in the discount when you buy a bike and promise you things they later refuse to deliver on, and they're honestly the least knowledgeable people I've ever met in a bike shop. After buying a bike, they said they'd throw in a free helmet, and needless to say they charged me for it. When I got the helmet (in person) they wouldn't order a different color, despite being willing to pre-pay, and didn't even bother to acknowledge what size I should get. To put it short, I walked out with a helmet of the wrong size, that I didn't even like the look of, that was about 6-8cm's too small for my head. When I went back in and explained this to them saying I think I need a bigger size (they adjusted it beforehand and did usual helmet-tests) they said that was not true, and refused to even let me exchange it till I pulled out a tape measure and showed them. Of course they said I was measuring wrong, and of course they charged me a fee for exchanging it, and of course the larger helmet fit much better. When I asked for cash back instead because they wouldn't order a different color and because it was supposed to be free they refused and said they don't do refunds. I purchased this all the day before in cash. Had my recipe. Same salesperson. I won't even go into the issues with the bike and how they lied about what I'd be able to buy with the discount after, and lied about changing out the cassete for the one I wanted before I bought the bike, and blah blah blah. I just don't want to have to think of this store anymore. Left a horrible taste in my mouth. Won't even go back for the free adjustments seeing as I consider them incompetent. Funny thing though, the salesperson didn't even know anything about road helmets. And that was their "road specialist." Anyhow, bottom line, of all the bike shops I've been to this has been hands down the worst. I should have drove to a big city to buy my cannondale for this semester.
